Mrs. Agnes Pearl Rainey Thompson, age 72, of Bremen passed away Friday, October 11, 2013.  Mrs. Thompson was born in Haralson County on April 23, 1941.  She was the daughter of the late Hershel James Rainey, Sr. and the late Pearl Eidson Rainey.  Mrs. Rainey was a retired seamstress having worked for Sewell Manufacturing Company.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Jerry Ray Thompson.

Survivors include her husband, Ray Jackson Thompson of Bremen; one daughter, Jackie Clayton of Carrollton; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Mildred and Lawrence Robinson of Tallapoosa, Pauline and Walter Robinson of Tallapoosa and Edna and Leroy Corbitt of Wewahitchka, FL; two grandchildren, Eli Thompson and Kevin Clayton; one great grandchild, Broly Thompson; and a number of other relatives.

Graveside memorial services will be conducted Monday, October 14, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. at Little Vine Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Sanders officiating.
