Mr. Agapitos Bessis, age 43, of 129 Carrollton St., Buchanan passed away Monday, June 1, 2009. Mr. Bessis was born in Melbourne, Australia on July 11, 1965 and had lived in Greece before moving to Buchanan. Mr. Bessis was the son of the late John Bessis and the late Stamatia Agapitos Bessis. Survivors include one brother, Dimitrious Bessis of Buchanan; and a number of other relatives. Graveside services will be conducted Friday, June 5, 2009 at 1:00 PM. from the Buchanan City Cemetery with Father George Alexson officiating. Interment will follow in the Buchanan City Cemetery. Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
