Wayne Thomason Obituary

Mr. Wayne Lewis Thomason of Tallapoosa passed away on Tuesday, June 19, 2018. He was born on Sunday, January 22, 1956 in Dallas, Georgia. Mr. Thomason is preceded in death by his parents Claude Thomason and Irma Jean Prewett Thomason.

Survivors include his wife Martha Jean Barmore Thomason of Tallapoosa; two daughters Cathy Pace of Dallas and Jayden Barmore of Tallapoosa; three grandchildren, Kassadi Rigsby, Meagan Pace and Preston Pace; two great grandchildren Gideon Rigsby and Scarlett Rigsby and a number of other relatives.

In keeping with Mr. Thomason’s wishes he will be cremated.

New Canaan Baptist Church (located at 7914 GA-100, Buchanan, GA 30113) will host a Celebration of Life on Saturday, June 30, 2018 at 3 P.M. The family asks for a covered dish to be brought.

In lieu of flowers the family request donations to be given to Martha Thomason.

Cremation services are being provided by Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan.
