Tommy C. Goldin, 84, of Carrollton, Georgia passed away Friday, January 12, 2018 surrounded by his family. Mr. Goldin was born in Draketown, Georgia, November 14, 1933, the son of the late T. W. Goldin and Pearl Dean Goldin.
He was a proud veteran of the United States Army and served for 20 years. He was a combat veteran in Vietnam during the TET offensive. He was stationed in several states throughout the country, Korea and Okinawa during those years.
Upon retiring from the military, he obtained his Broker’s License in Real Estate serving the West Georgia area in commercial real estate. He spent his leisure time watching races, football, sports and spending time with family and friends.
He is survived by his wife of 56 years Audrey L. Goldin and daughter Cindy G. Anderson. Sisters Clara McLain and Kathleen Smith, nieces, nephews and many other family members.
Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister Rebecca Brown and brothers, Eugene (Bud) Goldin and Earnest Goldin.
Memorial services will be held Tuesday, January 23, 2018 3:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M. at the Stewart House Chapel, 102 South Street, Carrollton, Georgia 30117 with Rev. Keith Jiles officiating.
The family will receive friends from 2:00 P.M. until 4:00 P.M.
