Robert Smith Obituary

Mr. Robert Jerry Smith, age 71 of Buchanan passed away on Friday, August 3, 2018. Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his parents Wallace Smith and Florence McPherson Smith. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by one brother Jimmy Smith.

Survivors include his wife Renee Frances Smith of Buchanan; two sons Jason Brian Smith of Tallapoosa and James Wallace Smith and Amanda of Tallapoosa; two step-sons Kenny Travis Shaw and Adam Jakob Shaw; one sister-in-law, Carol Smith of Boaz, Alabama; sixteen grandchildren Kaitlyn Alexis Smith and Ethan Bruce Smith.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Wounded Warriors and St. Judes in Mr. Smith’s memory.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, August 18, 2018 from 12noon until 2:00 PM. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM.
