Reba Sue (Wheeler) Norton

Ms. Reba Sue Wheeler Norton, age 62, of Tallapoosa passed away Tuesday, January 23, 2018.  Ms. Norton was born in Villa Rica, Georgia, on May 3, 1955.  She was the daughter of the late James Wheeler and the late Virgie Thornton Wheeler.  Ms. Norton was a cook.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, Jamie Norton and Joey Norton; one brother, Jack Thornton; and one grandchild, Tori Danielle Wright.

Survivors include one daughter and son-in-law, Tammie and Joseph Wright of Carrollton; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Diane and Shane Haygood of Dawsonville, and Brenda and Shawn Jannotte of Villa Rica; three brothers and one sister-in-law, Leonard and Angie Wheeler, David Wheeler, and Randy Wheeler all of Villa Rica; two grandchildren, Jayden Wright and Dylan Wright; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, January 28, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. from Welcome Hill Baptist Church with Rev. Wendell Thornton and Bro. Don Grimsley officiating.  Music will be rendered by Judy Robinson and Danny Norton.  Interment will follow in Goshen Methodist Church Cemetery, Roopville, Georgia.  The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers: Cody Grimsley, Alex Grimsley, Stewart David, Wayne Thornton, Danny Thornton, Shawn Jannotte, David Wheeler and Randy Wheeler.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 5:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
