Mrs. Mildred Janie Lou Campbell, age 68 of Tallapoosa, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2019. She was born on September 30, 1950 to the late Arthur Benjamin Campbell and the late Flossie Magnolia Kuykendoll Campbell.
Survivors include her husband Hubert Morgan of Tallapoosa; four daughters and husbands, Linda (Ronald) King of Villa Rica, Dianne (George) Estes of Oakman, Georgia, April Smith of Tallapoosa and Alice (Edward) Eden of Calhoun; three sisters and brother in laws, Cathy Guinn of Temple, Ann (Horace) Tidwell of Whiteburg and Dorothy (James) Wilson of Bremen; two brothers, Charles Campbell of Bremen and Roger Campbell of Bremen; twelve grandchildren; eight great- grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Old Path Baptist Church at 3:00 PM with Reverend Johnny Simpson and Reverend Ricky Goldin officiating. Music will be rendered by Johnny Truett and Pj Hart. Interment will follow in Piney Woods cemetery with the following serving as pallbearers; Timothy King, Isaac Goldin, Russell Gilbert, Michael Gilbert, Eddie Morgan and Hubie Morgan. Mrs. Campbell will lie in state from 2:00 PM until the funeral hour.
The family will receive friends Friday evening from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers donations to help with funeral expenses can be made to the funeral home.
