Mrs. Melba Jane Forsyth Craton, age 70, of Temple passed away Friday, June 30, 2018. Mrs. Craton was born in Villa Rica on Sunday, September 21, 1947. She is preceded in death by her parents Emmett Noble Forsyth and Lillie Mae Baker Forsyth; two brothers, Bartlett Hulsey and Charles Hulsey. She was a graduate from Buchanan High School.
Survivors include her husband William “Bill” Craton of Temple; one daughter and her husband Tonya and Scott Sciaretta of Woodstock; three sisters, Mary Lou Ploof of Buchanan, Gayle Wright and her husband Johnny of Temple and Jean Eaves and her husband Bo of Temple; two granddaughters Christina and her husband Andrew Puckett and Sarah Jones and a number of other relatives.
Funeral services will be conducted Monday, July 2, 2018 at 2:00 PM from Mt. View Baptist Church on Old Hulseytown Rd. in Paulding County with Reverend Arthur Justice and Reverend Mark Rice officiating. In keeping with Mrs. Craton’s wishes she will be cremated after the service.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, July 1, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
