Marilynn Allen Obituary

Mrs. Marilynn Brannon Allen, age 92, of Mableton, formally of Crossville, TN, passed away on Thursday, November 7, 2019. She was born on July 11, 1927 in Wilder, TN, to the late Robert Brannon and the late Verta Smith Brannon. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Major Kenneth G. Allen and two brothers, Bob Brannon and Bill Brannon.

She was a member and retired church secretary for Westside Baptist Church in Mableton. She loved the Lord and now she is with Him.

Survivors include two daughters, Terry (Marvin) Eidecker and Vicky (John) Hammond; three sons, James “Dan” Daniel (Cindy) Allen, Thomas Brannon, Kenneth G. (Pam) Allen; grandchildren, Patrick Allen, Monica Dirienzo, Jessica Hammond, Angellica Wentworth, Mia Anderson, Katie Eidecker, Emily Eidecker, Madeline Allen and Allison Allen; five great grandchildren; two sisters, Pat Trago and Mae Agee, as well as, several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.

In keeping with Mrs. Allen’s wishes she will be cremated.

The family will host a memorial service on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 10:00 AM from Westside Baptist Church in Mableton on 225 Fontaine Rd. Mableton, GA.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the Alzheimer Foundation, 225 N. Michigan Ave., Fl. 17, Chicago, IL 60601.
