Kenneth Wayne Baggett, Sr.

Mr. Kenneth Wayne Baggett, Sr., age 71, of Bremen passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2018. He was born in Copperhill, Tennessee on Monday, September 30, 1946. Mr. Baggett was the son of the late Kelly Baggett and the late Bella Mae (Johnson) Baggett. Besides his parents, Mr. Baggett is preceded in death by two brothers, Lonny Baggett and Frank Baggett; and by seven step-children, Bobby Summerour, James Summerour, Jerry Summerour, Ricky Summerour, Pat Summerour, Glenn Erwin and Donnie Summerour.

Survivors include his wife Wynell (Turner) Baggett of Bremen; son, step-sons and their spouses, Kenneth Wayne, Jr. and Nicole Baggett of Douglasville, David and Bee Summerour of Temple, Wayne Erwin of Winston, Greg and Anne Summerour of Buchanan and Gary Erwin of Temple;  daughter and step-daughter, Tina Baggett of Lithia Springs and Renee Williams of Douglasville; two brothers, Gary Baggett of Chattanooga, Tennessee and Tommy Baggett of Florida; his sister, Pam Kennedy of Florida and a number of other relatives.

In accordance with Mr. Baggett’s wishes, he will be cremated.

The family will be holding a memorial service at Welcome Baptist Church on Saturday, June 9, 2018 at 3P.M. with Reverend Robert Ploof and Reverend Leon Martin officiating.  Mr. Baggett’s ashes will be laid to rest in the Welcome Baptist Church Cemetery following the service.
