Judy Marjean (Newborn) Harrell

Mrs. Judy Marjean Newborn Harrell, age 68, of Rockmart, passed away on Thursday, September 19, 2019. She was born on January 14, 1951 to the late, Nezzie Ree Newborn and the late Elsie Jane Rush Newborn. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, James Nathaniel Harrell, Sr.; one son, Jonothon Harrell; two sisters, Dorothy Newborn, Myrtis Whitton; one brother, Leonard Newborn and grandson, Kane Rowell.

She was a member since 2002 of Shepherds Chapel in Gravitte, AK.

Survivors include two daughters and son-in-law, Rebecca Harrell Harper of Rockmart and Jody (Howard) Harrell Haas of Rockmart; one son and daughter-in-law, James Nathaniel (Dee) Harrell, Jr. of Waco; twelve grandchildren, Shyanne Haas Powell, Autumn Powell , Taylor Haas, Sarah Haas, Jonathan Haas, Rachel Harper, Matthew Harrell, Jacob McGuire, Samuel Harrell, Daniell Hicks Lewis, Zack Hicks, Skyler Lewis; five great grandchildren, Joshua Lewis, Bella Lewis, Maddie Lewis, Sophia Lewis and Avalon Hicks; three sisters, Ann Parrott of Mableton, Shirley Mead of Waco and Helen Kilgore of Temple; two brothers, Bobby Holcombe and Jimmy Holcombe and several other relatives and friends.

A funeral service will be held on Sunday, September 22, 2019 at 4:00 PM from Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel with Brother Earl Wiggly, Pastor Gary Harris and Jamie Harrell officiating. In keeping with Mrs. Harrell’s wishes she will be cremated following the service. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers. 

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 21, 2019 at the funeral home from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
