James Hayes Obituary
Mr. James “Larry” Hayes, 60, of Buchanan passed away Wednesday, November 6, 2019, after a brief illness. He was born April 8, 1959, in Rockmart to the late Bob Ezra Hayes and the late Betty Ruth Williams Hayes. Larry was predeceased by a sister, Martha Davis, and a brother, Billy Hayes.
Larry enjoyed gospel music, attending church activities, and spending time with his friends.
He is survived by three sisters, Becky Reeser of Carroll County; Betty (Phillip) Harvell of Buchanan; Diane Cole of Cave Spring; one brother, Eddie Hayes of Rockmart; and a number of nieces and nephews.
The memorial service for Mr. James Larry Hayes will be held Saturday, November 9, 2019, at 11:00 am at Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel & Crematory. Officiating will be Rev. Anthony Trawick and Rev. John Lemming. The Marchbanks Group will be in charge of the music. Interment will be in the Mountain Home Baptist Church Cemetery in Cave Spring.
The family will receive friends Friday, November 8, from 5 pm until 8 pm at the funeral home.
