Jackie Dell (Tolbert) Robinson

Mrs. Jackie Dell Tolbert Robinson, age 76, of Bremen passed away Thursday, September 7, 2017.  Mrs. Robinson was born in Gadsden, Alabama, on June 19, 1941.  She was the daughter of the late Fred Tolbert and the late Hannah Inman Mashburn.  Mrs. Robinson was retired from Sewell Clothing Company.  Besides her parents, she was preceded in death by one son, Michael Robinson; and two sisters, Phyllis Cummings and Mabel Robinson.

Survivors include her husband, Wayne Robinson of Bremen; one daughter and son-in-law, Tina and Ray Jones of Rome; one son, Mitchell Robinson of LaFayette; one sister, Peggy Stallings of Griffin; four grandchildren, Meghan Lemming, Hillary Jarvis, Ansley Jones and Samantha Jones; two great grandchildren, Jacob Lemming and Bennett Jarvis; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Sunday, September 10, 2017 at 3:00 P.M. from Buchanan First Baptist Church with Dr. Allen Wilburn and Rev. Tommy McClendon officiating.  Interment will follow in Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Charlie Simpkins, Mark Robinson, Mike Little, Scott Sims, Danny Gobely and Lynn Ivey.  Serving as honorary pallbearers will be: Alan Bell and Hugh Harden.

Mrs. Robinson will lie in state at the Church Sunday afternoon from 2:00 P.M. until 3:00 P.M.

The family will receive friends at Buchanan First Baptist Church Saturday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.
