Mr. Gregory Alan Hendrix, age 58, of Temple passed away Wednesday, October 2, 2013. Mr. Hendrix was born in Austell on March 26, 1955. He was the son of the late Harold Hendrix and the late Gwendolyn Hunter Hendrix. Mr. Hendrix was an automobile mechanic.
Survivors include his wife, Sharon Polivka Hendrix of Temple; one son and daughter-in-law, Shane and Ginger Hendrix of Jacksonville, AL; one step son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Kim Huddleston Franklin; one sister, Karen Locklear of the Corinth community; nine grandchildren; two great grandchildren; and a number of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday, October 4, 2013 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson''s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Don Rackley officiating. Interment will follow in Piney Woods Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Shane Hendrix, Joe Huddleston, Chad Perry, Joe Sanford, Gary Hewitt and Timothy Perry.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home Thursday evening from 6:00 P.M until 9:00 P.M.
