Eric Lee Hammock

Mr. Eric Lee Hammock, age 33, of Villa Rica passed away Friday, September 15, 2017.  Mr. Hammock was born in Douglasville, Georgia, on September 12, 1984. 

Survivors include his wife, Shanna Serna Hammock; one daughter, Jazmine Hammock of Gainesville, TX; one son, Brendan Hammock of Gainesville, TX; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Alesha and Jesse Eleton of Bremen, and Melissa and Roger Haney of Orlando, FL; father and step-mother, David and Zelda Hammock of Villa Rica; mother and step-father, Connie and William Anderton of Bremen; one brothers, David Leon Hammock, Jr. of Bremen; two step sisters and one step brother-in-law, Stephanie Sheard of Buchanan, and Brandy and Tracy Baxter of Tallapoosa; one step-brother, Matt Anderton of Denton, TX; maternal grandmother, Sue Brymer of McDonough; paternal grandparents, Eddie and Annie Ruth Hammock of Felton; and a number of other relatives.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, September 21, 2017 at 2:00 P.M. from Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel with Rev. Hoyt Hammock and Rev. Tim Elder officiating.  Interment will follow in the Brannon-Perryman Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers: Samuel Middleton, Jesse Eleton, David Hammock, Gene Spears, Roger Haney and Frankie Tankersley.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M.

Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan is in charge of the arrangements.
