Daniel Broughton Rowell, Jr.

Mr. Daniel Broughton Rowell, Jr., age 63, of Buchanan passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2018. He was born in Cedartown, Georgia on Thursday, May 19, 1955.  Mr. Rowell was the son of the late Daniel Broughton Rowell, Sr. and Mary Ruth Copeland Rowell. Besides his parents, Mr. Rowell is preceded in death by his grandson Jake Thompson.

Survivors include; his wife Audrey Burton Rowell of Buchanan; three sons, Michael Swanson of Buchanan, John (Holly Ratliffe) Burton of Temple and Mark Ford; one daughter and son-in-law Jennifer (Aaron) Thompson of Waco; one brother, Michael Copeland Rowell of Loveland, Colorado; two sisters and brothers-in-law, Deborah Lynn (Jerry) Gore of Bremen and Susan Denise (John) Donovan of Acworth; five grandchildren, Christopher Jackson, Jessica Kireger, Samantha Rowell, Anthony Bentley and Austin Burton; three great grandchildren, Noah Sears, Maddilynn Sears and Chase Burton and a number of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 2P.M. from Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel with Reverend Buddy Gentry officiating.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday, June 16, 2018 from 12PM until 2PM.

In keeping with Mr. Rowell’s wishes he will be cremated after the service.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Ronald McDonald house in his grandson’s Jake Thompson’s memory.
