Mrs. Betty Hasty Gardner, age 86, of Carrollton passed away Monday, March 12, 2018; she will be greatly missed. Mrs. Gardner was born in East Point, Georgia, on January 13, 1932.
Mrs. Gardner is now in Heaven with her late husband, Robert Scott Gardner. Together they owned and operated BoBetta Farms in Middleburgh, Florida. Horses were a shared passion. They bred, trained and showed several award-winning horses. They loved all horses, but the Paso Fino breed was their favorite. Mrs. Betty and Mr. Robert Gardner earned many Horse Competition Championships throughout the United States and were three-time National Champions.
The mournful survivors of Mrs. Gardner include generations of children, grandchildren and great grandchildren to include: Mrs. Gardner’s Son, William David Gardner of Bremen, GA; grandchildren Gary and Christina Ballew, Joey & Tiffany Gardner Crook, and Will and Keisha Gardner; the numerous great-grandchildren include Brittany Ballew Stokley, Ashley Ballew, Kyle Gardner, Kailey Gardner, Bryson Gardner, and Briella Gardner; and many other relatives.
Mrs. Betty Gardner was a remarkable and very beautiful woman. She was elegant, feisty, energetic and truly unforgettable. She was a loving Wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother that will be missed tremendously.
To celebrate her life, a gathering of Family and friends will be held Thursday, March 15, 2018 from 4:30 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Hutcheson’s Memorial Chapel.
