Bertram Francis Johnston

Mr. Bertram Francis Johnston, age 83, of Carrollton passed away on Monday, June 18, 2018. He was born in Buffalo, Missouri on Monday, September 24, 1934.  Mr. Johnston was the son of the late Bertram Francis Johnston and Alice Alta McConnell Johnston. Besides his parents, Mr. Johnston is preceded in death by one sister, Mary Edith Johnston and his son-in-law Robert Myatt. Mr. Johnston served as an Elder for the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah’s Witnesses for forty-four years.

Survivors include; his wife Eleanor Louise Humphrey Johnston of Carrollton; three sons and daughters-in-law, Douglas and Christi Johnston of Carrollton, James and Karin Johnston of Temple and Robert and Elizabeth Johnston of Carrollton; five daughters and sons-in-law Alice Myatt of Dennis, MS, Frances and Scott Cooper of Bremen, LeAnn Johnston of Austell, Jeannie and Michael Madden of Tishomingo, MS and Mary Pittman of Fulton, MS; three brothers, Vernon and Carol Johnston of Weldon Spring, MO, Gary and Starla Johnston of Collinsville, IL and Bobby Joe and Linda Johnston of Fernandina Beach, FL; sixteen grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and a number of other relatives.

Memorial services will be Saturday, June 23, 2018 at 4:00 PM from Kingdom Hall 401 Almon Rd. Carrollton, GA 30117 with Brother Edwin Porter officiating. There will be a repast following the memorial service at the Villa Rica Civic Center 1605 GA-61 Villa Rica, GA 30180.

In keeping with Mr. Johnston’s wishes he will be cremated.
