Vinia Lee (Morgan) Folsom

Vinia Lee Morgan Folsom, age 72 of Buchanan, passed away peacefully surrounded by her loving family on Sunday, January 9, 2022.  She was born on June 19, 1949, in Cleburne County, Alabama, to the late Addielee Lipham Morgan and the late Eston Morgan.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her brothers, John Henry Morgan, Franklin Rudolph Morgan, Tom Morgan, and Howard Morgan.  She worked for many years at Sewell Clothing Company.  She loved being outdoors, fishing, gardening, and then canning the vegetables she grew.

Left to cherish her memories are her two sons and daughters-in-law, Rodney and Tina Fincher of Tallapoosa, and Allen and Virginia Shaw of Bremen; sister Stella (Jackson) Voss of Helfin; brothers, Harvey Morgan of Bowdon; Johnny (Brenda) Morgan of Bowdon; and Earl Morgan of Temple; two grandchildren, Tiffany Fincher (fiance' Jeremy Bowman) and Hannah (Casey) Patterson; and two great-grandchildren, Kara Patterson and Olivia Bowman.

Funeral services for Vinia Folsom will be conducted at 3:00 PM on Tuesday, January 11, 2022, from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Brother Robert Edwards officiating.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour.  Interment will follow in the Indian Creek Baptist Church Cemetery in Bowdon.
