Douglas Ralph Cheeks

Douglas Ralph Cheeks, age 78 of Bremen, passed away on Monday, January 24, 2022. He was born on August 9, 1943 in Esom Hill to the late Grover Cheeks and the late Ida Bell Fenley Cheeks. Besides his parents he is preceded in death by two brothers, Newman Cheeks and Gene Cheeks and one grandson, Jacob Cheeks. 

Left to cherish his memories is his wife Teresa Brown Cheeks of Bremen; two sons, David Cheeks of Bremen and Shannon and Amber Cheeks of Kathleen, GA; step daughter, Monica Kuykendall of Bremen; sister, Nellie Sue Mallows of Roopville; nine grandchildren, Faith Cheeks, Andrew Cheeks, Jordan Ivey, Rachel Carroll, Gillyan Hendrix, Sierra Bunker, Adrian Cheeks, C.J. Cheeks, Mackenzie Baumgarner and several other relatives and friends. 

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, January 28, 2022, from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel at 12 Noon with Pastor John Lemmings officiating. Following the service Mr. Cheeks will be cremated. 

The family will receive friends on Friday at the funeral home from 11:00 AM until the service hour.
