Donald Lloyd Oswalt

Donald Lloyd Oswalt, age 67 of Felton, passed away on Tuesday, April 6, 2021. He was born on September 11, 1953, in Anniston, AL to the late Foster Oswalt and the late Ruth Caldwell Oswalt. In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by the love of his life, Patricia Vines Oswalt and one brother, Ben Williams. 

Donald loved his family and the outdoors. He had a green thumb and enjoyed working outside in his garden. 

Survivors include three daughters and sons-in-law, Christy (Rocky) Rochester of Fruithurst, AL, Tina (Randall) McDowell of Rockmart; and Allison (Ronnie) Banks of Felton; one son and daughter-in-law, David (Katie) Oswalt of San Diego, CA; one brother, Gene Oswalt of Felton; and one sister, Angela Oswalt of Cedartown.  Donald dearly loved his ten grandchildren, Ryan Dobbs, Tyler Dobbs, Misty McCarty, Brandon Crawford, Madison McDowell, Alex McDowell, Jadey Hinesley, Gabby Thompson, Junior Oswalt and Lincoln Oswalt; his five great grandchildren with one on the way, and a number of nephews. 

In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated.

The family will host a gathering at Valley View Baptist in Cedartown on Saturday, April 10, 2021 at 3:00 PM.

Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel & Crematory of Buchanan has charge of the cremation arrangements.
