Brenda Olene (Mixon) Cash

Brenda Mixon Cash, age 81 of Bremen, lost her battle with dementia on Saturday, April 15, 2023, in a local healthcare facility.  Born on September 8, 1941, in Tallapoosa, Georgia, she was the oldest child of the late C.B. Mixon and the late Olene McSwain Mixon.  Brenda was a graduate of West Haralson High School and was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church in Bremen.

Brenda loved her family.  She especially enjoyed having tea parties with her granddaughters using the tea pots she collected.  In 1986 and 1987, she was a participant in the "Bicycle Ride Across Georgia."  The bikers traveled all over Georgia camping along the way and finished their rides in Savannah, a city she always loved visiting..  

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Ernest "Allen" Cash;  her daughters, Collin Cash of Dallas and Caryn (Stephanie Deon Ray) Cash of Douglasville; and her granddaughters, Bailey Cash Bodley and Zoey Cash.  Also surviving are her sisters, Sandra Roberts of Tallapoosa and Glenda (Junior) King of Waco; her brother, Rocky Mixon of Tallapoosa; and several nieces and nephews.

In accordance with her wishes, Mrs. Cash will be cremated.  The family is planning a service at a later date.
