Maria Emma Flores

Maria Emma Flores, 48 of Carrollton, GA was called home on July 12, 2019 where she passed peacefully surrounded by her loving family. She was born March 29, 1971 in Chicago, IL. Maria Emma Flores lived in Aransas Pass, TX for several years before moving to Georgia to raise her family.

She is preceded in death by her parents Rene Valdez Reyes Sr. and Virginia Reyes, and her brother Rene Valdez Reyes Jr.
Maria is survived by her 4 children, Valentino Cruz Flores Sr . wife Lexi, Eric Anthony Flores wife Annette, Jacob Domingo Flores wife Hillary, Miranda Ishoy and husband Blake. Her Brother Mario Reyes wife Beth, and two sisters, Cindy Flores husband David of Rockport, TX, Margarita Burgess husband Josh of Portland, TX. She also leaves behind her beloved Fiancé Robert Kelley and her dearest fur baby Benzy.

Maria has 4 grandchildren that she loved very much. Valentino Cruz Flores Jr., Isabella Patricia Flores, Lilliana Emma Flores, and Harper Jean Flores.

She worked as a caretaker at Stewart Street Academy and loved all the kids she cared for. She enjoyed watching her favorite team the Atlanta Falcons, going to the movies with her Fiancé Robert and relaxing with her Yorkie Benzy.

Maria will be remembered as a loving mother, caring grandma, devoted Fiancé, cheerful friend but above all she was the bravest and strongest Sister.

Maria’s life will be celebrated at Hope Church, 306 Burns Rd., Carrollton, GA. Tuesday, July 16 at 12 pm for immediate family only. A second celebration for friends and those who would like to honor her will be held at 5:30 pm at the same location.
