Mrs. Betty Jean Cook Stephens, age 75, of Franklin, passed away at Cancer Treatment Centers of America, on Monday, January 6, 2020. She was born on September 29, 1944 in Cleburne County, AL to the late Clyde Cook, Sr. and the late Cloe Alice Alewine Cook. Besides her parents she is preceded in death by two sisters, Frances White and Shirley Wiggins and three brothers, Tommy Cook, Clyde Cook, Jr. and Paul Cook.
Survivors include her husband of 33 years, Harold Dean Stephens of Franklin; one son and daughter-in-law, Marty and Cynthia Thomas of Woodland, AL; four step-children; eleven grandchildren, five great grandchildren; one sister, Nellie Collins of Ranburne, AL and several nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
In keeping with Mrs. Stephens wishes she will be cremated.
