Cody Kimball Obituary

Cody James Kimball, age 30 of Bremen, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2024. Born on June 8, 1993, in Rome, he was the son of Shelly Kinney Kimball and the late Anthony David Kimball. In addition to his father he is preceded in death by a daughter, Dakota Mae Kimball; grandparents, Tony Kimball and Jim and Marilyn Kinney; and one uncle, Rodney Kimball.

A Haralson County High School graduate and an avid outdoorsman, Cody enjoyed riding 4 wheelers and Razors. He was noted for keeping up with current events which led him to be a declared conspiracy theorist. However, he was a patriot through and through and loved America. Cody loved his family dearly, and his greatest passion was being a daddy and an uncle. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Survivors include his mother, Shelly Kinney Kimball; his fiance, Haylee West; his daughter, Willow Mae Kimball; his bonus children, Kaiden, Kinsleigh and Karleigh; his sisters and brothers-in-law, Magen Hulsey Fincher and Justin of Buchanan and Miranda Kimball Massey and Jake of Muscadine, AL.  Also surviving are his nieces and nephews, Camryn, Austin, Kaydence, Zoey and Cason; godson, Maverick Bowman; grandmother, Judy Kimball; aunts and uncle, Sheila Smith and Shanna Ward and David; and several other relatives and friends. 

Funeral services for Cody Kimball will be conducted at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 2, 2024, from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Brother Lee Patrick officiating. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 1, 2024, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. and also on Saturday from 1:00 PM until the service hour.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Willow Mae's savings. To donate, please contact the funeral home for further help.

Cody was a Georgia Bulldog fan through and through, and in his honor, the family asks that you please wear jeans and Georgia colors, Red and Black. 

In accordance with Cody's wishes he will be cremated following the service.
