Arlene Angela (Brown) Jones

Arlene Angela Brown Jones, age 63 of Carrollton, passed away peacefully Thursday morning, April 4, 2024.  Born in Lorain, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Newman Joseph Brown and the late Mildred Grace Moore Brown.  In addition to her parents, Arlene was preceded in death by a sister and brother-in-law, Marie and Junior Craft, a sister-in-law, Patricia Brown, a nephew, David Brown, and a great-nephew, Hunter Craft.

Arlene loved going to the beach and spending time with her family and friends.  Shopping was one of her pleasures as was anything to do with Georgia Football.  A woman of faith, she loved her Lord. Until her health started failing, she was an employee of TydenBrooks in Tallapoosa.

Left to cherish her memories are her sisters and brother-in-law, Sherrie and Benjamin Stanley of Orange Park, FL and Terrie and Mike Shaw of Greensboro, GA; and her brothers, Billy Brown of Blountsville, AL, and Leo Brown of Cedartown.  Also surviving are her nieces, Denise (Rick) Lybrand, Stephanie (Derrick) Phillips, Melanie (Joe) Welch, and Misty (Randall) Morris; her nephews, Mike Craft, Ronnie (Saralyn) Craft, Josh (Courtney) Baker and Terry (Sara) Ward; her great nieces, Amanda (Luke) Henderson, Cassie (Andrew) Corbitt, Taylor (Ryon) Green, and Deavon Brown; and her great nephews Tyler Abram, Tristan Phillips, Gatlin Phillips, Tyler (Kalyn) Brown, and Tyler (Ariel) Craft, as well as other family and friends.

Memorial services for Arlene Jones will be conducted at 2:30 PM on Sunday, April 7, 2024, from Hutcheson's Memorial Chapel with Brother Homer Wysner officiating and eulogy by Amanda Henderson.  Arlene will be laid to rest with her parents at Pleasant Hill Church in Tallapoosa.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 7th from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM.
